Ho hum, another day another record for The Dark Night. The latest record it set is biggest 6-day opening of all time and it's not even close:
1. The Dark Night - $222 mil
2. Dead Man's Chest - $183.7
3. Revenge of the Sith - $182.7
After it's 6 days have been tallied, it's already at #3 this year on the domestic chart, behind on Indy Jones and Iron Man. Unreal. But anyway, 2 new movies dare sneak into the theaters today to challenge the juggernaut that is The Dark Knight.
Step Brothers
The Plot: Two spoiled adult men (Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly) are pulled into a new sibling rivalry after their respective single parents get hitched.
My Thoughts: The combination of these 2 clowns is comedy gold for my money. If you didn't like Talladega Nights, I'm guessing you'll want to skip this. I think it looks hilarious. It's rated R, which is a bit different for a Will Ferrell comedy so it may be a bit raunchy even.
The X-Files: I Want To Believe
Plot: ??? *cue weird X-Files music*
My Thoughts: I haven't read a lot about this and nobody seems to know much about the plot online anywhere. I do know that Chris Carter directed it and David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are both in it as Mulder and Scully, so that's really all I need to know to want to see it. I'm there.

Tanner and Kevin are both huge Will Farrell fans and are going to see StepBrothers tonight. And, Kevin made me watch Semi-Pro this week. I admit he has me laughing and liking these 'no brainer' movies!
I am a big X-files fan and will probably go see that one! I can wait for StepBrothers to come out on video b/c I'm sure Kevin will make me watch it! Ha!
