So let the masses rejoice... American Idol returns tonight. I'm not a fan of the show per say, but I always seem to watch these "weeding out" episodes as they're pretty entertaining. But it's hard to deny the impact artists like Kelly Clarkson, Chris Daughtry and Carrie Underwood have had on the charts as well.
