So I'm trying to get a nice weather day to get to the lake to have my boat delivered to my slip and get an on the water orientation and to just spend the day getting to know my new floating friend. But Mother Nature is being quite the bitch. Oh it's been warm and nice here for a week or so, but sure enough the next scheduled date I have for it, Thursday, it's supposed to be raining and high in the lower 40s. If I keep having this luck, it'll be Summer before I'm hitting the water. Oh well I guess, whaddya gonna do? Nothing, that's what. Well, complain and reschedule, that's something I guess.
I have tickets for tonight's Sun Belt Conference Championship game on ESPN2 in Hot Springs, but guess what... UALR forgot NOT TO SUCK. They got romped last night after scoring 44 points, or 4 less than Dewayne Wade scored by himself for the Heat in the NBA. It was a hard game to watch as they went an embarrassing 16-61 from the floor, 4-23 behind the 3-point line. Total suckage.
I guess I'll stay home and catch up on some movies. I'm trying to get out to see Watchmen for one and I've got some unwatched DVDs laying around, not to mention a new PS3 hooked up to the big screen and lastly I'm in the middle of 3 books at once. I never read more than a book at a time but somehow I've started Randy Couture's autobiography, a book from the guys who do the Ghost Hunters TV show and a book of short stories by Joe Hill... all at the same time.
Or I could go buy some of the new good stuff hitting stores today:
* Let The Last One In DVD (highly acclaimed horror/drama)
* Role Models DVD (comedy with Seann William Scott and Paul Rudd)
* Transporter 3 DVD (action film with Jason Statham)
* Milk DVD (Director Gus Van Zant's film about gay activist Harvey Milk (Sean Penn))
* South Park Season 12 DVD
* Chris Cornell ~ "Scream" CD
* Dope ~ "No Regrets" CD
* Resident Evil 5 (video game for PS3 X360... Friday)

I walk outside pretty much every day and look at my boat just sitting there in the back yard... with 1/2 a tank of $3 gas.
I thought I might climb on in and pretend to drive it.
