First up, here's a very cool beer site I highly suggest to anybody who likes that sort of thing. It's called The Brew Club and there are lots of reviews, links and such. Go check it out!
And don't forget we're always adding new brews and rating them at BeerReviewsOnline.com AKA The Bro. In fact some of us will be at the New Belgium tasting on Thursday night at the Saucer.
Now, I wish I could tell you that there are a bunch of cool new CDs coming out today for your holiday purchasing, but there's diddly. In fact there are a only a couple of releases left for the entire year that I'll be interested in.
But there are a few DVDs out today at least:
* Lost Season 4
* The Dark Knight (reviewed here)
* Horton Hears a Who (reviewed here)
I read The Dark Knight is being re-released in theaters next year for some reason. Variety reports that Warner Brothers will re-release The Dark Knight into theaters on January 23rd.
Also I'm not sure why they waited so long to release Horton Hears a Who. Seems like forever ago I saw that. (it was actually 9 months ago... but most movies make DVD within 3-5 months now)
More movie stuff:
* It looks like Ghostbusters 3 is finally going to happen, 25 years after the original film. Slowly but surely, the stars of the first two movies are coming out and talking about the possibility of a third, and Sigourney Weaver is the latest. "I’ve heard about it, I’m supposed to get in touch with Bill [Murray] next week."
* From Ben Stiller: "I’ve been trying to get Zoolander 2 together and we’ve had a few scripts. I feel that is the sequel I really would like to do some day because I like the original and I would make sure it was something new and worthy of it first. Meet the Parents 3 is a possibility too."
* Harrison Ford hinted at maybe doing another Indiana Jones movie recently.
* There's talk of a 4th Jason Bourne film as well.
