Tough opponent. Great striker, very resilient.

When and why did you start training for fighting?
Two years ago I was an assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Arkansas Razorbacks. The competitive fire was still there and I needed an outlet to compete.

What ranks and titles have you held?
XFL Heavyweight Title

Do you have any heroes?
Walter Payton

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC?
It means that I have reached another one of the many goals that I have set for myself. The next goal is to win in the UFC. I am always excited anytime that I can accomplish a goal and equally as excited to set the next one.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn?
2001 Graduate of University of St. Francis with a BA in Science and minor in Special Education

What was your job before you started fighting?
Asst. Strength & Conditioning Coach for the University of Arkansas

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition?
Undefeated as an Amateur MMA and Kickboxing

Specific accomplishments in pro competition?
XFL Heavyweight Champion, 1-0 Professional Boxing

Favorite grappling technique:
North South "Monson" Choke

Favorite Striking technique:
Ground and Pound
