The song was originally released by the funk rock band Mother's Finest, with whom the members of Jackyl are good friends. The vocals on the cover version have been reworked into a song about unity and how through music we are one. That's Darryl "D.M.C." McDaniels (of Run-D.M.C. fame) helping with the vocals.

I can see why people would judge the song by name alone. Very sad given that it is a very positive song about music uniting us all.

I swear these guys have made some pretty good music lately for my money. Jesse James Dupree even has some great solo stuff. Of course, I'm a big fan of redneck metal AKA Walmart metal, so I'm biased.
